Moira - Guides, Tips & Tricks

Support Character

Difficulty Level :star: :star:

Moira’s biotic abilities enable her to contribute healing or damage in any crisis. While Biotic Grasp gives Moira short-range options, her Biotic Orbs contribute longer-range, hands-off damage and healing; she can also Fade to escape groups or remain close to allies in need of support. Once she’s charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies.

With Moira it is always most important to heal your team, rather than go for a kill, its called a team fight for a reason, and if you have no team, then you are more than likely at the disadvantage. If your primary fire heal is running low or empty, you actually charge up the healing meter more by tapping your alternate fire on enemies repeatedly, instead of holding it on them. This will cause you to do less damage but keep your heals at maximum uptime.

Be aware with Moira, that your job is to soak up and heal the Majority of your tank’s damage, don’t try to “pocket” a dps because it ruins the true potential of your healing. You get the most healing/ ult charge from staying behind your tanks. When you use your Ult try to save it for when your Orb is off cooldown, and throw a orb, before you ult, and choose the best for the situation, if trying to heal through an enemy ult healing orb would be most beneficial, if initiating a team fight, or trying to get a pick on the enemies backline, damage would help.
