Raid Schedule and Tier Information

Normal Difficulty Raids
Normal raids consist of all raiders that meet the requirements of the Raiding information. They must have basic knowledge of the mechanics pertaining to their Class and Spec. Joining a raid using LFR is a great tool to use to familiarize oneself with the boss fights and is highly recommended for new players.

Heroic Difficulty Raids
Heroic raids will be for the raiders that can perform to the best of their abilities while understanding the mechanics of the encounter. They must have completed one full clear of normal and it must show on the World of Warcraft armory.

Mythic Difficulty Raids
Mythic raids will be for the raiders that can perform to the best of their abilities while understanding the mechanics of the encounter. They must have completed one full clear of Heroic and it must show on the World of Warcraft Armory. Additional mythic raiding requirements are listed here.

Open Night
Sunday’s are typically reserved for any guild Member. Open night gives back to all the members that don’t typically raid. While going for a full clear, we shall explain boss mechanics and our strategies prior to boss pull. There are no sign ups, just show up prepared (ask if unsure). Open night still falls under all the rules, though top tier gems/enchants are not required, lower tier gems/enchants are expected.

Important! While we will attempt Open raid every week it is not always guaranteed to happen as this is an optional raid night. Check GMOTD or Discord for weekly updates. Open raid night will start once our main raid has sufficiently cleared Normal. Please be aware that we may not always do a full clear. This will be dependent on raid composition.

New Raid Tier
When a new raid tier comes upon us, these above rules are void. One week after the last LFR tier as been released, all rules will come into effect with no exceptions. (Most of the above rules will fall on New Recruits or Members looking to become Raiders)

Progression Bosses
Every progression fight will pose a problem for any guild. A team effort is required to killing bosses especially during progression. A handful of individuals cannot carry the group to success. There will be times where we will have to remove or add raiders based on their knowledge of mechanics pertaining to your class/spec such as DPS/dmg done, healing abilities, or tanking abilities. Please don’t take this to heart, we all want to have a successful raid.

Attempts
Raiding requires a certain amount of commitment. We will address the situation(s) as they arise during both progression and farm. Every member is expected to learn the boss mechanics. Repeated failure of mechanics will result in removal from a boss fight. We will always go for a minimum of three attempts on any bosses with all raiders before removing. Please have the personal responsibility to remove yourself if you know you are not meeting expectations for a specific boss. Respect the time of your raid team members.

Alliance Raid Progression (Proudmoore)
The schedule for Sepulcher of the First Ones will be on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6-8PM server time (PST), with an optional hour on Friday and Saturday.

At the start of the raiding tier the raiding groups will start in Normal until each group clears all bosses. After that, Tuesday will be primarily Normal difficulty and Friday/Saturday will be Heroic difficulty.

Once the majority of the raid no longer needs Normal for gear progression, we may change to Tuesday/Friday for Heroic difficulty and Saturdays for Mythic and/or alt raid night with alt raid difficulty dependent on group composition. See our forums posts on mythic raid and alt raid.

Progression Raid
Raid activity schedule subject to change once Heroic is on “farm”. Days will remain the same. Check the in game calendar for event schedule.

Note: Raid Leaders will decide if they will be doing normal or heroics, but all teams will be doing the same difficulty on the same nights.

Open Raids usually do not start until our Raiders have cleared Normal.

Open Raid still requires that you follow all the Raid Rules.

Alliance Requirements
Every raid member is expected to come to raid prepared. This includes but not limited to being fully repaired, gemmed, enchanted, personal consumables (combat potions, flasks, food, weapon oils/stones) and a vague understanding of the encounter.

iLvl Requirements
Normal SotFO = 237 ilvl
Heroic SotFO = 250 ilvl
Legendary gear piece should be at lvl 6 for Normal raiding - if you are just returning to the game/to raiding - we may be lenient on this, but your personal goal should be to meet this requirement as soon as possible.
Use of Double Legendaries is required for Heroic raiding with at least ONE lego at level 7 / ilvl 291.- This requirement will increase to both pieces at level 7 / ilvl 291 at a point in progression TBD
At the start of the Sanctum of Domination, every raid member will be required to have at a minimum common quality enchantments. Heroic difficulty will require full strength enchantments and consumables. This is the price of raiding.

Note: There are several new enchantments in Shadowlands such as Chest, Bracer, Glove, and Boots on top of the Ring and Weapon enchantments. Some of these are primary stat dependent: Strength users = Glove, Agility users = Boots, and Intellect users = Bracer. On top of the new enchantments there are now Weapon Oils (for casters) and Sharpening Stones and Weightstones (for melee).

Any raid member who is missing a gem(s) or enchantment(s) will be removed from the raid group until they have satisfied the raid requirements so the raid team is not waiting on one member (to be clear, you can return once gemmed and enchanted - you just might miss a boss). Required Addons
The following addons are required. Any raid member that does not have these addons will be removed from the raiding group until they have installed them.

DeadlyBossMods - VEM - BigWigs - Any Boss mod will do, we just require you to have one installed and updated.
Method Raid Tools - Helpful addon for raiders, especially for raid leaders and officers.

Recommended Addons
GTFO - provides an audible alert when you’re standing in something you’re not supposed to be standing in.
ORA3 - This allows raid leaders to track important items such as raid cooldowns as well as check gear, latency, repair status ect. Mostly phased out due to ERT.
Weak Auras - very useful, may sometimes be asked to use a Weak Aura for a fight

The raid schedule will be placed on the in-game calendar each week. If you cannot make it, please use the Discord #raid-sign-up-and-absence text channel to notify your RL/RA as early as you can so that we can get an idea of what our group composition will look like.

Above all, remember
This is a game. The content may be tough. The tensions may get high.
The key is to remember we are all on the same team.
